First day of new programming, felt pretty good
First day of the new program I'm following! Honestly it felt SO GOOD! I think I really needed this change. Again, I'm thankful for the program I had before but sometimes change is good. I did wake up feeling very lazy and really wanted to stay in bed longer, but so glad I didn't. I also feel like now that I built out this little online journal thing, I feel somewhat accountable to this, so that's another plus to all this.
Strength Training
Power snatch, power clean, push press, back squats. Tell me that combination isn't just incredible? Squats did feel a bit heavy, I had to do 3x6 @ 75%. But I still loved it! Also, found the GHD machine after walking around a bunch, but now I know where it is so that's great. Nothing makes my core more sore than the GHD machine so love that that's part of the program.
Swimming
Oh swimming, when will you ever get easier? It still feels like a battle and it hasn't "clicked" yet to be honest. Today I tried breathing out only through my nose so I'm only using my mouth to breathe in. I don't know, I saw that online and thought I'd try it out. I think it does feel better. I was able to follow today's programming no problem (well I miscounted once and missed a 75 lol). Overall good swimming day!
